Join us for our 4th edition of VINEYARD+WINE+CHEF+ALBUM on Thursday, May 27th at 6pm PST.
The lineup is full of heavy hitters this month, as we feature Les Collines Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley—with special guest, Vineyard Manager/Viticulturalist-to-the-Stars Brad Sorenson. If you were on last month’s ZOOM call, you know that the fruit from this vineyard is a key component of our Levitation Syrah, but for this episode, we thought it would be fun to feature one of our limited production wines that comes solely from Les Collines—namely, our Force of Nature Syrah.
We are going to be joined by an incredible restaurateur (and one the winery’s good friends and biggest supporters) Scott Mason. Scott has 3 restaurants in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area, including Ketchum Grill, Enoteca, and Town Square Tavern. Scott was kind enough to send us an awesome recipe for Turkish Lamb Kebabs from the playbook at Town Square Tavern to go with your bottle(s) of Force of Nature Syrah. Click here to get the recipe from our earlier blog so you can recreate it before our ZOOM call!
And of course, Trey will be breaking down one of the greatest Soul albums ever written, “Blue” by the incomparable Otis Redding. Trey’s love of Memphis and the music scene from that era is the inspiration for this choice, and it will surely be an informative and entertaining review of this masterpiece!
Please RSVP so we can send you an email with the ZOOM link the week of the event. And don’t forget to pick up some of the 2017 Force of Nature so you can drink along with us—ten percent off (20% for wine club members) from now until the end of the month. Purchase the 2017 Force of Nature Syrah!

Violets, cold fireplace, black fruits, and tons of mineral and rocky characteristics emerge from the 2017 Syrah Force of Nature. Coming from a single block of the Les Collines Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley, it’s medium to full-bodied, has a firm, structured profile, and a great finish. It’s going to need short term cellar though and I suspect evolve nicely for over a decade.
