The (first annual) Basalt Bash and Barrel Auction kicks off on 7/25-26, 2025.

The fun will begin with a FREE AG Parade down N. Main Street. A ticketed RDW (Members-only Wine Tasting and Tamale Challenge) @ Watermill (on their patio) immediately follows the AG Parade. The next morning, we are planning a small, ticketed, golf event at M-F’s Municipal Golf Course (RDW Members assigned to each foursome). All this leads to the Main Event! That afternoon we will host a ticketed Barrel Tasting and (silent) Auction @ WWLCo, Davis Orchards facilities on Appleton.

The Barrel Tasting & Auction’s GOAL is 25-30 (exclusive) Barrel Lots: 10 cases per barrel (silent auction) to the highest bidders. The top 10 case bids (per Lot) would receive their exclusive wine (post bottling) from each producer. RDW will provide Bash-labels. Bash producer Inviteesare receiving this donation opportunity this month.

The wine for the barrel lots will be OR/WA, WW Valley producers, sourcing Rocks District fruit to create an exclusive wine, not-to-be-offered anywhere else. To arrive at our Goal of 25-30 Lots, and in our effort to attract generous guests/collectors, we will need to include some non-RDW Members…spreading the affiliated love around our Valley. Collaborations will be encouraged.
