Comedians:
Birungi Birungi:
Birungi is a Ugandan comedian based out of Seattle, Washington. Although he initially moved to America for college, he quickly found a different way to fall into debt – stand up comedy! He has been featured on the “Best of the Fest” list at the Burbank Comedy Festival. Birungi also had the privilege of opening for DL Hughley (Original Kings of Comedy) in Seattle, an experience he describes the highlight of his comedy career. Since then, he has performed for hundreds of people across America. Most recently, he was a contestant in the San Francisco Comedy Competition which showcases comedians from all over US, Canada and the rest of the world. You can find him performing in and outside major cities throughout the year.
Rachel Horgan:
Rachel is a Seattle based comedian who has performed at many venues locally as well as shows in Eugene, Oregon and Atlanta, Georgia. She has been featured on the Lesbian Chronicles podcast and cleans up her material when she emcees corporate events around town. Rachel shares her honest stories of drinking, dating, and laser hair removal in hopes that it makes others feel a little less alone.
Ally Weinhold:
Ally Weinhold is a Los Angeles based comedian, social worker, and alcoholic. When she’s not performing stand up across the country (you may have seen her at major theaters in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Atlanta), Ally can be found crying in Trader Joe’s after the checker asks her how she’s doing in “a really genuine way.” Ally doesn’t care how cheesy it sounds, she believes that laughter is the best medicine and that comedy can heal trauma. She is committed to turning pain into punchlines, no matter how many family holidays she ruins in the process.
