Harvest is in full swing!

Happy mid-October! You’d never guess it here in Walla Walla that it is was October 15th, but we won’t argue with what Mother Nature has delivered to us! 15 straight days over 70 degrees, zero precipitation, and no temps below 40, with the forecast for at least the next 5 days of the same! We’ve brought in about 70% of our grapes, with Blue Mtn. Vineyard and our Estate Binaural Block still hanging quite a bit of fruit, as well as the last of Elene’s Block at Phinny Hill Vineyard. Our guess is that we will have it all in the door by the end of this week. Early indicators show that the quality is as high as we have seen through these doors, with terrific flavors, colors, acid, tannin structure, and mid-palate density, all while retaining amazing freshness.
