The 2009 Illusionist is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Syrah, and 8% Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from Red Mtn. and Blue Mtn Vineyards. It provides the structure, minerality, and spicy blue and red fruits to the wine. It is balanced by the Syrah from Lewis Vineyard, which is famous for its red raspberry flavor profile, and Cabernet Franc from Blue Mtn. Vineyard with classic tobacco leaf and cassis notes famous for this grape. The ripe tannins and balanced acids ensure a long life ahead for this amazing wine!
